Some of you may know that a young friend of mine is making a film for one of the poems from my new book, Hopes, Dreams & Medals volume 2, Why Do We Do It?
It’s a film about athletes or anyone who has a dream. What drives them? What compels them to fight against the odds until their dream becomes a reality.
Well, Adam, my filmmaker, has come up with someone so tough, he’ll impress the toughest of athletes. Heck, he’d impress the S.A.S. This guy has two prosthetic legs and he RAN 153 miles across the Sahara Desert! They don’t come tougher than that.
Here’s a link to his story.
