The marketplace is coming alive,
the sellers are in full call
when a sweet-faced girl, with boxes of books
takes her place at the corner stall.
they bustle about, and she raises her voice,
“Who’ll buy my books, my treasures, my wares?”
But nobody hears her soft sweet voice,
and it seems as though nobody cares.
The buyers are busy, they bustle about
from The Bookseller,
